Welcome to the DCH Preschool, a highly reputable early childhood center serving families in Dedham, Boston, Norwood, Westwood, Needham, and beyond.
Tucked just behind DCH’s main house, the DCH Preschool welcomes children 15 months old through 5 years. Since 1970, parents have accepted us into their families and trusted us with their children's physical safety and emotional growth. Inclusive Classrooms Run By Dedicated Teachers
Each DCH Preschool classroom provides ample opportunity for creative play and learning while aligning with state standards. We work hard to create inclusive classrooms, incorporating books and other materials that represent the diversity of our school, community, and world. Teachers are responsible for planning a developmentally-appropriate curriculum focusing on each child's emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development.
At DCH Preschool, our teachers are the heart and soul of the school, and they are the reason we have such an excellent reputation. We have a rigorous hiring process for our teachers with high standards for experience, credentials, and teaching style. Some of our staff have been with us for over 25 years, which speaks volumes about the commitment of our staff. DCH Preschool is a special place, offering a community-focused, family feel of a home-based childcare with efficiency and professionalism.
