With two lifeguards always on duty, the DCH pool is a safe and convenient location to learn to swim, cool off, or host a pool party.

If you walk past the DCH main house and continue past the soccer field, you’ll find the DCH outdoor pool situated right at 225 Ames Street. Equipped with a robust pool house, a large pool deck with a grassy area, and a covered pavilion to enjoy snacks in the shade, the DCH pool is everything you envision a community pool to be and more. During summer weekdays, the pool is used by our campers, eager to improve their swimming skills. Outside of summer camp hours, the pool is available through pool memberships and day passes, swim lessons, exercise classes, and private party rentals. You do not have to be a resident of Dedham to join or use the pool.

The pool is open to members and day pass visitors.
You don't need to live in Dedham to buy a day pass or membership.
Weather permitting, the pool operates every day of the week, except July 4th. It opens on June 6 and closes on August 31.

Pool Rental
Private rentals are available on Sundays from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
The rental cost for up to 45 people (including both swimmers and non-swimmers) is $425. A deposit of $75 is required at the time of reservation and is refundable after meeting the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.
We will provide 2 lifeguards. You are welcome to bring/order food.
No alcohol or glass bottles are allowed.
