Haven House

Our beautiful historic Samuel Haven House, built in 1795 and now better known as the Dedham Community House, is an ideal location for baby and bridal showers, intimate weddings, elegant parties, rehearsal dinners, business meetings and milestone events. DCH can recommend caterers and other service providers for your complete event solution.

Haven Hall: 22 feet by 23 feet; seats 40 comfortably

Lincoln Room: 20 feet by 16 feet; seats 24

Dining Room: 20 feet by 15 feet; often used for buffet

Inside Heated Porch: 12 feet x 27 feet; seats 30

The Outside Porch wraps around the side of the house, connecting the Lincoln Room to the indoor porch. We also have a small kitchenette equipped with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator for your convenience.

The room setup is flexible, allowing most rooms to be used for seating or as a dance floor. We maintain a no-smoking policy throughout the facilities.

Additionally, no alcohol is allowed on the premises unless served by Cocktails, our exclusive, insured, and TIPS-certified bartending service.
